a) Write what you think of the future of your country regarding the birth rate- the employment rate- inflationwill they go up or down? What factor will affect the change? What can the government do? Is it a good or bad thing for the country?
Ans:I see my country moving towards the path of development. It is because of positive indicators are beginning to see in birth rate, the unemployment rate and inflation rate .I think the birth rate will go down since people are aware of the conceptof small family, happy family. People are unlikely to bear multiple children as they are in favor of quality of life. Girls are equally giveneducation and are motivated to take part in income-generating activities. In this sense, birth rate is unlikely to go up.As the major political parties of Nepal are putting emphasis oniagricultural and industrial development of the country, they will likely to generate employment opportunities. The country is in the process of restructuring with the sense of federalism, the developmental works willbe decentralized and will ultimately open the door to opportunities. Inthis sense, the unemployment rate will be decreased.By the same token, (arTH due to the employment opportunities, lowpopulation’ growth rate, developmental works and decentralizationgrowth will contribute to. avoid the situation of inflation. The process, the country’s economy will ‘be boomed . The economic government will take initiation for the overall development. The decrease in birth rate, unemployment rate and inflation rate areobviously the indicators of country’s development. Thus, on the basis of above- mentioned details, I can safely say that the future of my country is nice and positive.

Subject: Appealing for Support
I am writing this letter to draw the attention of concerned authorities to help the project, Community Development Program(CDP), that aims to help youths and their overall development.
As we know that our youths are the future pillers of the country. However, they are not getting any recreational sites. In the town, most of the open-spaces are occupied by the concrete jungle asa result there isno any space for young generation to play. Young generations should engage in the creative activities so that they will be physically and mentally fit.
Unless they involve in creative activities, their potentialities will be decreased. Due to lack of socialization, they may involve in anti-social activities. In this connection, they need a special club so that they will be able to get-together, discuss on various ideas and information. Through club, they can organize different programs that will help them increase leadership quality. They can also organize entertainment programs in special occasions.
Our project is trying to manage an open-space for sporting activitiesfor the youths. Along with open-space, a building for club is necessary for them. To manage that too, our project is effectivelyWorking. I hope the authorities concerned will help our project which IS mainly concerned with the holistic development of the youths.
i would appreciate it, if you publish this letter to draw the attention of the concerned authorities.

c) Give reasons, write what would you do in the following situation? Your boss asks you to do some overtime on an evening when you have an important family meeting. You are currently being considered for promotion.

Write an article about recent changes in the role of man and women in your country.
Ans: From the past to the present, the roles of men and women have been changed in my country. In the past, the roles of men and women were determined by physical attributes, because men were supposed to be stronger than women.Men had a lot of responsibilities, such as working and providing fortheir family. Therefore, men had power and got more opporturnities than women. However, women have become equal with men in societyr ecently, for example, in education, work, politics, and the household.First of all, education is a basic foundation of our life because it teaches humans.about organized thinking and how to make sharp decisions.Consequently, education can provide a chance to make our life better. Inthe last century, only men could learn and went to school while women did not have an education, because society believed men had an abilityand skill to learn more than women. Also, people in society chose to provide opportunities in education to men first. These days, society gives the same educational opportunity to women as men, and women have the potential to study in the same way as men. Also, nowadays more women are educated than men. For example, the proportion of men and women in primary school is similar, but theirchanges when entering. Similarly, the position of men and women in theworkplace has been changed. In previous times, women did not have a
role in the workplace and could not get to the top of the company. There were many reasons why there was less fairness in the workplace. First, society believed that women had limited knowledge and ability, o remotional rather than logical skills. However, things are changed now. Women are supposed to be equallypotential like their male counterparts. Hence, women have also been doing the same jobs which men have been doing from the very beginning.

c) How important is personal image in Nepal? What are the main status symbols, for example, luxury cars, designers’ clothes, education in private schools.
Ans: Personal image is important in Nepal. Different people take different things as a status marker. Unlike the developed countries, luxury cars are not so strongly taken as a status marker. However, there is growing trend of wearing fashionable clothes to show that one belongs to high class family. Similarly, by admitting their children in private schools and colleges, people tend to show their high profiled family background. In the era of capitalism people are being consumerist in attitude, therefore, by using things, they show their status. In Nepal also, this trend is growing rapidly.

Bhaktapur Municipality, Nepal December 20, 2016
Subject: Complain about Inefficient Bus Services
I am writing with regard to public transport trouble in my town. First of all, there are only few modes of transport to travel from homę to work. Many commuters like me are facing number of problems due to insufficient means of transport in the town.
Due to the lack of sufficient bus services, the government officers are not being able to reach the office on time. Because of this, they are not giving their best performance as they are supposed to do. Besides that, mostly the available public vehicles are micro-buses that can carry not more than 10-15 passengers .Due to the small space, the passengers find it very difficult to adjust inside the bus. This is not a single day problem rather it is an everyday problem that people are facing.
In my opinion, roads and public transport authority should start a Metro Bus Service or increase the number of buses and bus stop so every citizen can travel hassle free and affordable.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Writé a report on eating habits intended to encourage people to eatmore sensibly.
.Ans Report on Healthy Eating Habits to Encourage People
Teaching people healthy eating habits, and modeling these behaviors in them can help maintaín a healthy weight and normal growth. Also, the eating habits they pick up when they are young will help them maintain a healthy lifestyle when they are grown-ups. Their health care provider can evaluate their weight and growth and let them know if they need to lose or gain weight or if any dietary changes need to be made.
Some of the most important, aspects of healthy eating are portion control and cutting down on how much fat and sugar your child eats or drinks. Simple ways to reduce fat intake in the diet and promote a healthy weight include serving
:Low-fat or nonfat dairy products
Poultry without skin
Lean cuts of meats
Whole grain breads and cereals
Healthy snacks such as fruit and veggies
Also, reduce the amount of sugar sweetened drinks and salt in the diet. To develop healthy eating habits among people include:
Make a wide variety of healthful foods available in the house. This practice will help learn how to make healthy food choices. unhealthy choices like chips, soda, and juice at the grocery store. Serve water with meals.
Encourage your children to eat slowly. A child can detect hunger and fullness better when they eat slowly
.Eat meals together as a family as often as possible. Try to make meal times pleasant with conversation and sharing, not a time for scolding or arguing. If mealtimes are unpleasant, children may try to eat faster to leave the table as soon as possible. They then may lean to associate eating with stress.
Involve your children in food shopping and preparing meals. These activities will give you hints about your children’s food preferences, an opportunity to teach your children about nutrition, and províde your kids with a feeling of accomplishment.
Plan for snacks. Continuous snacking may lead to overeating, but snacks that are planned at specific times during the day can be part of a nutritious diet, without spoiling a child’s appetite at meal times.
Discourage eating meals or snacks while watching TV. Try to eat only in designated areas of your home, such as the dining room or kitchen. Eating, in front of the TV may make it difficult to pay attention to feelings of fullness, and may lead to overeating.
Encourage your children to drink more water. Over consumption of sweetened drinks and sodas has been linked to increased rates of obesity in children.
Try not to use food to punish or reward your children. With holdingfood as a punishment may lead children to worry that they will not get enough food. For example, sending children to bed without any dinne rmay cause them to worry that they will go hungry. As a result, children may try to eat whenever they get a charce. Similarly, whenfoods, such as sweets, are used as a reward, children may assume thatthese foods are better or more valuable than other foods. For example, telling children that they will get dessert if they eat all of their vegetables sends the wrong message about vegetables.
Make sure your children’s meals outside the home are balanced. Find out more about their school lunch program, or pack their lunch to include a variety of foods. Also, select healthier items when dining at restaurants. Pay attention to portion size and ingredients mixed in the food items.
